Train Wrecked
Been meaning to write about this for a while, but I’ve been so busy practicing my procrastination skills I just haven’t had the time! I apologise in advance if you don’t find this as amusing as we do, but even if it is a ‘you had to be there’ moment, I’m going to tell you about it anyway.
It happened last Sunday; on Valentine’s Day. I met Chloe and we were waiting for a train to Sheffield at about 9:30. When a train pulled up around 2 minutes early of the scheduled time we didn’t really take notice of the unusual appearance (or punctuality!) because it was so cold, we just climbed straight on. Immediately I could tell something was wrong, all the seats had reserved tickets above them and on the right of us was a first class carriages; no trains going to Sheffield have first class carriages. I quickly looked at one of the tickets and my eyes were drawn to one word: ‘London’.
